30 years of the Ekopolis Foundation
On May 24, we officially celebrated the 30th anniversary of the founding of our foundation. The celebration was planned for May 31 at the CNK Garden in Banská Bystrica, where we invited our closest friends, current and former employees of the foundation. And what a celebration it was!
We are still reminiscing about the well-wishes and reunions with friends. We truly enjoyed celebrating our 30th anniversary! A big thank you to everyone—for the thoughtful gifts, beautiful greetings, and kind words in speeches and memories of the early days and people of Ekopolis. We also had the honor of launching two new books from Knihy o Slovensku by Dajama Publishing—on Slovakia’s primeval forests and its most beautiful trees.
Special thanks go to the Záhrada – Center of Independent Culture, where we felt right at home once again. Our Ukrainian friends, Chef Nomade François Bouillet and the Lunter Kitchen, prepared fantastic food, while moderator Lacko Eliaš and the Banská Bystrica-based band The Electric Tribute provided the entertainment.
We are grateful to have had the chance to work alongside all of you over the years to make Slovakia a better place to live. Here’s to many more years of collaboration!
